Dr Daniel Ajzensztejn is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in the treatment of lung cancers, mesothelioma, skin cancers and stereotactic radiotherapy (SABR) for primary lung cancer and metastases. He has a particular interest in cutting edge personalised treatments including stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR/SBRT) and immunotherapy.
Dr Ajzensztejn studied medicine at University College London and has undertaken several other degrees relevant to his specialty including a DPhil (PhD) at Oxford University where his research focused on ways to use the body's own immune system to fight cancer. He continues to be involved in clinical research and is the principle investigator for a number of clinical trials.
He is an NHS consultant at Oxford University Hospitals, and also undertakes an NHS clinic at Milton Keynes University Hospital. He sees private patients at GenesisCare Oxford and GenesisCare Milton Keynes.
